Art Show Rules
Agreement
Submission of an entry to this exhibition constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to the conditions set forth above.
Blue Springs Art League reserves the right to refuse any work that is not presented correctly or offends public taste.
Entry
ARTISTS MUST PRE-REGISTER. Completed entry form and full payment must be received NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2026.
All participating artists will pay an entry fee of $35.00 for either one or two entries.

BLUE SPRINGS ART LEAGUE.
Presentation of Entries
All photographs, watercolors, pastels and drawings must be matted, framed and covered with glass/Plexiglas. All art must be completed and dry.
All framed work must be ready to hang with picture wire. No pound in, SAW-TOOTH HANGERS. Saw-tooth is acceptable if part of a metal hanger base as shown. Gallery-wrapped canvas is acceptable. Size and weight of sculpture must be included with entry so that arrangements may be made for display.
Art Categories
- All photography will be placed in the Photography categories
- Judges have the right to disqualify entries entered in the incorrect category
- Choose the category that best fits your art work.
Labels
Attach labels to art entry prior to delivery to Vesper Hall
Place labels on back of framed pieces in
UPPER LEFT CORNER OR ON BASE OF SCULPTURE INVISIBLE
Sale Of Work
Sales are encouraged. A 10% commission will be retained by Blue Springs Art League for its non-profit work promoting the arts Price art works accordingly or make not-for-sale NFS
Eligibility
Open to all artists age 17 and over. WORKS MUST BE ORIGINAL and completed no earlier than 2023 and must not have been
exhibited previously in this show.
No classroom work is eligible for judging. No craft related work or jewelry will be accepted. Size of entries limited to a framed length plus width not to exceed 72 inches. Maximum weight on all hanging art is 15 lbs. NO EXCEPTIONS
Liability
All reasonable care will be given to entries in the custody of Blue Springs Art League; However, works are submitted at the artists risk. Vesper Hall of Blue Springs, Blue Springs Parks & Recreation Dept., Mid Continent Library, and Blue Springs Art League cannot assume responsibility for damage incurred before, during or after the
exhibition or for possible loss while in transit. Artists desiring to
insure their works must make their own arrangements.
